Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CPAP Tracker (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

CPAP Tracker is a personal health management tool that helps you track CPAP equipment replacement schedules, cleaning tasks, AHI values, and optionally view sleep data from Apple Health. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

Medical Disclaimer

The App is intended for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider regarding your CPAP therapy and equipment needs.

The AHI tracking feature is for personal record-keeping only. It does not analyze, interpret, or provide recommendations based on your AHI values. AHI categories displayed in the App (Optimal, Normal, Mild, Moderate, Severe) are based on general clinical classifications from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and are provided for informational context only — they do not constitute a diagnosis or assessment of your condition. Consult your sleep specialist for guidance on your therapy.

Gamification Disclaimer

The App uses a gamification system (experience points, streaks, achievements, and category labels) solely to encourage consistent tracking habits and equipment maintenance. The XP rewards, achievement badges, and encouragement messages associated with AHI categories are motivational tools only and do not represent medical assessments, treatment goals, or clinical outcomes. No aspect of the gamification system should be interpreted as medical advice or as a recommendation to pursue specific AHI values. Your treatment goals should be set exclusively by your healthcare provider.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into the App
You are responsible for maintaining your device’s security
You agree not to misuse the App or use it for any unlawful purpose

In-App Purchases

CPAP Tracker Pro is available as a one-time, non-consumable purchase
Pro features include unlimited consumable tracking, iCloud sync, PDF export, and ad-free experience
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms
You may restore purchases on any device signed into the same Apple ID

iCloud Sync

Pro users may optionally enable iCloud sync to synchronize data across devices. When enabled:

Your data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service
You are responsible for managing your iCloud storage
We do not have access to your synced data
Data synchronization depends on your iCloud account status and network connectivity
We are not responsible for data loss due to iCloud service issues

The free version of the App displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. You may remove ads by purchasing CPAP Tracker Pro.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of the App are the property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States.
